  • Overview

     The Sales Manager of e-Health will be responsible for maintaining existing and securing new business to business sales of products and technologies to e-Health market and companies within the United States and Globally.  Sales Manager will be reponsible for Increasing sales volumes in the E-Health market through a variety of account activities and exceptional customer support

    Responsibilities

    The Primary Job Functions are

    • Overall accountability for the ownership of e-Health market sales in assigned territory.
    • Interact with customer/prospect for the purpose of:
      • Marketing and selling Nonin products.
      • Evaluating performance and strength of customer/prospect.
      • Training customer on Nonin products.
      • Negotiating agreements.
      • Support customer integration of product.
      • Sales planning and forecasting.
    • Attend tradeshows for the purpose of:
      • Providing Marketing and Sales support.
      • Evaluate activities, strategies and strengths of the competition.
      • Collect other marketing information.
      • Evaluate the success and perception of Nonin products.
    • Maintain customer files.
    • Recommend credit/payment terms and assist with credit checks.
    • Support past due collection activities.
    • Prepare segment sales forecasts by units and dollars.
    • Compare monthly sales results to goals and take appropriate action to correct where necessary.
    • Provide sales input for strategic planning.
    • Assist in expense budget preparations for area of responsibility.
    • Interface with R&D and Service to assure resolution of customer issues.
    • Interface with Engineering and Marketing for new product development.
    • Provide input on advertising, literature and promotion materials.
    • Recommend pricing programs to remain competitive.
    • Interface with QA/Regulatory regarding any observed or reported quality/safety issues.
    • Interact with Nonin distributors where recommended.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Required Education & Experience: 

    • 5-7 years’ experience in medical sales required; prefer Sleep, Homecare, EMS, Telehealth, and Respiratory markets.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
    • United States based sales or distributor management experience.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to present and sell to all levels of the organization, including executive level.
    • Strong computer skills including high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and customer databases.
    • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; high level of business management and facilitation skills; ability to resolve complex problems.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects involving a variety of resources with defined deadlines/schedules
    • Customer focused; action-oriented; team motivator; self -developing; creative and innovative; problem-solver; ethical with strong values; self-starter; highly organized; works well with all functional levels in the organization.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with sales in anesthesia, critical care, and respiratory markets.
    • Technical experience/education.
    • Fluency in a second language.

    Physical Requirements:

    •  Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
    • Sit, and/or stand for 8 hours/day
