Job Overview:  The Marketing Director leads the marketing team and develops and executes the product strategy that is in line with the corporate strategy and objectives.  Drives market development and penetration as well as revenue growth across Nonin’s product portfolio through competitive marketing strategies that position our products to deliver the most value to customers.


What you will do:

  • Establish objectives and work projects for the Marketing group, allocating resources appropriately.
  • Grow Nonin’s global footprint by constantly searching for expansion and growth of business, through assessment of the commercial, financial and operative processes.
  • Leads the development of competitive product market strategies and prioritizes customer needs based on full assessment of margin dollar potential, market, customer and competition.  Stays current on market drivers and assesses impacts to strategy.  Segments the market to identify and assess gaps/opportunities to strengthen market position.
  • Develops a compelling value proposition of current/future product portfolio relevant to customers’ needs and wants; drives distinct competitive advantage for selling new products and services as well as expanding utilization within the existing global customer base
  • Drive Launch Excellence for all new product launches from business case through pre-launch planning to execution and attainment of objectives
  • Collaborate with the Commercial leadership team to identify and maximize sales channel and operational efficiencies
  • Develop, lead, and have overall management responsibility for the Product Strategy & Marketing group team members
  • Create/keep current/execute on product roadmap using direct and shared resources with due diligence of product opportunities incorporating NPV of realizable product roadmap
  • Drive customer representation and Nonin requirements related to product lifecycle management and other internal processes to include:  input to product design in new product development, inventory allocation to the customer, acquisitions and divestitures, and recall/withdrawal management
  • Develop and maintain an effective communication process with other Functional Leaders to ensure organizational alignment
  • Develop a budget plan and manage the group within budget constraints, driving for financial efficiencies


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 10+ years related experience with progressive leadership roles;
  • Medical device or other regulated industry experience


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute strategy to drive value
  • Proven experience in developing individuals and teams and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to influence and have a creative mindset
  • Demonstrated analytical skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree
  • Market development experience


Physical Requirements:

  • Sit, and/or stand 8 hrs/day.
  • This position requires proof of vaccination against the COVID-19 virus. Nonin Medical will follow an accommodation process for medical or religious exemption.
